Do calendar alerts work if the phone is not nearby

I’m considering buying a Versa or Versa Lite. 

 

If I setup appointments and reminders on my calendar app on my phone, and then sync those to the watch through Bluetooth, will those alerts and reminders still “work” (alarm or vibrate) even if the phone is nowhere near the watch at a later time?

 

I suppose I’m asking if the alerts and reminders are “saved” to the watch. I know this is the case with an Apple Watch but I don’t know about Versa.

Hi, @Ninjaduck! Alerts are not transferred over. You will only receive notifications if your phone is near enough for the bluetooth to be connected.
