Does Versa 2 have smart wake or not?

I could have sworn that I read that a smart alarm feature was going to be on the new Versa 2s, but I don't see any mention of it in device settings and descriptions, and after live chatting with Fitbit they're now saying they do NOT have a smart alarm on the Versa 2. I checked consumer reviews and they're referencing "smart wake" and I could have sworn I read about it, too! I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone now that Fitbit support is denying it. Is this a coming feature? Fake news? Did I just dream it up?

That is really strange... The smart wake is also the reason why I have this watch instead of another one. Don't know if helps but this is the version of mine. Also, on the box it says 2019 in the bar code tag. This was bought on Amazon last November/December.

I suggest that you create a new thread with your issue.

I did, and I even posted LOL.

Seems like it's the exact same story. The function should be there. Some people have it, some don't. Nobody knows why..

The links provided by the moderators have zero information on smart wake. Just a normal alarm app.

I'm up to date with the updates.. This is the strange thing about this problem..I'm running the latest firmware of the phone app and the tracker..

Unfortunately, if I don't get a response from fitbit soon I'll probably be returning this watch. I have 40 more days to make my decision.. The apple series 3 is only 10$ more right now (in Canada).. seems like there are far fewer bugs with that watch..

Thank you! I just went to the apps and saw that there's a little icon at the top showing I've selected Smart Wake.

HOWEVER, I'm not sure it's working. I think my alarms go off at the set times, not earlier or later. I'll start paying closer attention.

Thanks again!

Do you have an iPhone or an android?

Because my wife has an android, and everything is working perfectly. I have an iPhone, and using this device is like pulling teeth..

If it is the same thing I’m thinking of, my Versa Lite has this feature. When I make a new alarm time on the watch itself, it asks if I’d like to toggle on the *smart wake* option. And it wakes me up in between sleep cycles. I tried it for the first time today and it worked great. Good luck! I hope your Versa 2 also has this feature.

It has since given me the option

I have an Android-- Samsung Galaxy 20+.

I used to feel a vibration when I'd get notifications (texts, DMs from
Facebook, phone calls), but my Versa 2 no longer vibrates with
notifications either. I read somewhere that if things are off, you should
uninstall the Fitbit app and reinstall it. Maybe I'll try it. Perhaps that
will fix Smart Wake and the notifications' vibration.

I just got mine.  It doesn’t show up as “smart wake”, but if you go into the app, go to your profile and the sleep category, I believe it is under “wake time”.  I will know more in the morning, but believe that is where it is if not in the alarm app.
