I just bought the new google pixel 3a, i was wondering if anyone else has as well, and if they have encountered any luck with syncing their versa?

My GPS tracking with my Pixel 3a and versa is sadly still garbage.

Since Google bought Fitbit in assumed Fitbit would prioritize compatibility of devices their parent company makes 🤷🏻‍:female_sign:

I just bought my Versa 2 today, got in on my wrist, to discover it doesn't sync/work with the Pixel 3a! AArrgh, so, so disappointed. Will now have to look at other brands of smartwatch. I chatted to tech support who said the Pixel 3a STILL isn't supported, didn't give me a date for when it would be, but did encourage me to try set-up a few times as apparently it will work on an ad-hoc basis, but this isn't really worth the cost of the watch to me. Back it goes 😞

I would give it a few days tbh. My Versa Lite didn't work at all. But it slowly gained features after a couple of days. Even though it's still unsupported, I use mine daily with all the features working. The only issues I get are occasionally missing a notification, sometimes taking long to sync, or dropping Spotify connection. But that happens very little. Good luck

I see this isn't a priority with everything going on but it has been over a year and it would be nice to know if you will support this phone at any point or should I find another piece of equipment to use.  I'm very disappointed that FitBit covers almost all of the Google Pixels but some.

If you haven't already bought it, I got over my initial shock of it not
being supported to find there are very very few problems with it. I was
adamant I'd trial it for the weekend but with the GPS, Alexa, Spotify
WhatsApp and replying to messages on it I was sold. It does take a long
while to set it all up if you're a technophobe like me though

Hi, just got a Versa 3 for xmas as my older fitbit had died. Had problems getting it set up and sync'd with it finally working on the third attempt.

It appears that you cannot sync /connect your watch to your phone unless you make the correct decision when confronted with - do you want to share your data with app continuously and not just when you are in the app. On the two occasions I had attempted to connect my devices I was reserved in preferring like most apps to select the lesser intrusive option of only access my data when i'm in the app, but this doesn't seem to work withe this device. it needs unfettered access to your every movement otherwise hey guess what, it just becomes and watch and not why you bought it, to track your heart rate, your every movment in bed while you sleep so it makes sense that the app has to have access to your data all the time. Once I had factory rebooted the watch and de-installed an re-installed the app on my pixel 3a for the third time and made the 'right' choice on the data sharing exam question and it connected via bluetooth and sync'ed my heart rate data and steps data right away. hope this was useful guys? good luck

No it's doesn't work. It pairs and acts like it will work the track playing shows up on versa screen but pressing buttons does nothing. But sometimes it pairs and works but seems when you need it most it fails. No matter if Google podcast or Spotify or whatever it's as disappointing as Fitbit versa 1. Every phone I tried with it sux. I feel so stupid for buying versa 2. I miss my pebble, it always worked.
