Does anyone have anything nice to say about the Versa?

It is fairly 'normal' when a new tracker (or a new anything really) comes out the happy people go off and carry on with their lives. It is mostly the ones with problems that frequent forums like this. But I know what you mean (I think) - it would be great to hear some positives too!

It is sad that the vocal minority scares away potential buyers. Especially when it seems like many of the problems may be solved with some technical savvy.

I have hadde mye versa since friday, and I like it.
Sleep stages functions as it should, all data is showing correctly, I can play music... Everything is like promised.
If I should mention anything negative, ut slike be the vibration for sms notification. It is short, and I can easily miss it if I'm doing anything while it vibrates.

I really like it. My first smartwatch/HR activity band. It does what it promised and looks great.

Forums like this don’t deter me. I love to hear what the issues possibly could be so I’m prepared for solutions if I come to it. I also know hat because it’s a new product there are bounds to be lots of back-log and bugs to work out. I get mine Tuesday (hoping Monday 😅) Fingers crossed!

The negativity isn't deterring me. Most of the time I figure most of the problems people are having could be resolved by looking at the Owner's Manual, but for some reason, they prefer to badmouth or vent on forums. LOL
I was hoping to encourage people who have had a good experience to vent that. 🙂

I've had my versa nearly a week and I love it. All the built in features function as advertised. And coming from the Charge 2 this is a major upgrade for me. It is light weight and really comfortable. I love my woven band but even the classic band seems a lot more flexible and comfortable to wear out of the box than the Charge 2 bands. The screen is vibrant and everything seems to be tracking well for me.
I'm still waiting for them to release the female health tracking and android preset text responses (next month?).
I've only had two issues and one of them is no fault of Fitbit or the Versa.

I think most of the problems can be solved with a little tech savvy. My wife had the Charge 2 and then got the Ionic for Christmas. She had to have the Versa as it is so much smaller as the Ionic was just way too tall on her small wrist. Have never had a problem with any of them so far. I have the Ionic and it works flawlessly. I expect the same with the Versa. Most problems with tech gear can always be solved eventually. When in doubt reboot. I have to do that with my iPhone at least once a week.

I got my new Versa yesterday and I love it! I carefully studied all the information I could find about it beforehand and also got my techno-geeky husband to advise me, and the Versa does everything I hoped it would.
I love the look of it and had great fun choosing a clock face. It’s light and very comfortable to wear and in spite of all the playing with it that I did yesterday while setting it up and trying out all the different features, it was still at 88% charge this morning. It took just a few minutes to charge up to 100% again and I found the charger simple to use - I like that the charging cable is longer too.
I’m looking forward to the extra features still to come, especially the instant reply feature, but I’m a happy customer!

I'm really glad to see that a lot of the new Versa owners are having a great time.
It's really sad because, while a lot of people have had issues with the Versa (and back then, with the Ionic on release) it's still a small percentage of the devices (such as with most products) when compared to the total sales.
The thing is that only the people who have bad experiences come here and then the ones who do have issues with their watches think the product is trash, which creates a loop of hate.
So it's very refreshing to see that there are the ones who are having a great time and that are also willing to pass by and leave regards.

Exactly what said above. Consider that the greatest part of people in this community forum registers only if they have a problem and then walk away. It's nearly impossible to find a person who registers just to say it is happy about the product. And actually it's logical, why should I post in a community forum to say that the product I bought works as advertised?

@Joeyc1866 have you tried restarting your Versa a couple of times? If not give it a go.

Ditto to this! Yes, I’ve had some issues and posted them on the board here, but overall I’m super-happy wth my new Versa! Way comfier and better-looking than my old Blaze—that I also loved to bits, even if it also had some quirks—and many of the new features (apps/music storage/Bluetooth headphone compatibility) work without a hitch.
I’m mainly posting here to let Fitbit know about the issues to ensure they’re aware (especially on Android, it’s nearly impossible to test for every phone/device combo, even those that they say are “fully supported”) and to help them improve the software/firmware & fix bugs. Fitbit seems to really listen to their customers (see the feature request forums for examples of customer requests being turned into final products, i.e. female health tracking & trackers for kids)—maybe something they were planning on doing all along but a nice touch to call out that these were also customer requests).

A small percentage of tech products are Dead on Arrival (DOA) if they show symptoms of hardware failure preventing basic operability upon first use out of the box. I paid $299 Canadian for my Versa and it was DOA. That’s not chump change for me. Sorry, It’s frustrating, especially when dealing with Fitbit’s initial less-than-stellar customer service.

I've had a great experience with the Versa so far (after about 5 days of use)! I've found the adjustment to the Versa from the Alta HR smooth with minimal learning curve. I am exclusively using the Versa as a fitness tracker (no notifications from my phone), so it may be that I'm just not experiencing glitches with those other features and apps. Overall the design seems pretty smart to me, and I'm loving the additional functionality of being able to see/track more data directly from the device vs. relying on the app.

I've had my Versa since the 2nd, and I have had almost all positive interactions with it. The negatives are all so minor. For example, the Weather app has stopped syncing all together. But I normally check my phone anyway. The Exercises don't remember stat settings and have to be redone before an exercise. A little annoying, but not a game breaker. Love the watch to be truthful.

Just got mine an hour ago. Charged it up and updated it. Used my phone as a hotspot and connected via WiFi. No problems whatsoever. Swapped bands out which took 2 mins. It’s tracking heart rate spot on. So far so good. If feels so light on my wrist. Doesn’t feel as clunky as the charge 2.
