Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a place here on the site that describes how the sleep score is calculated?
The scores I get I cannot figure out how they're calculated. I get an 80 on one night of 7 hours sleep and a 75 on the next with 7 hours. Baffling!
Thanks - Erich

@Erich777 Users who pay for the Premium program get more detailed sleep score information, in addition to the Guided Programs and Coach.
50% of the score comes from Time Asleep. But the time you spend in bed, but still awake, or if you wake up several times, it seems like the score will drop. I suspect Fitbit uses average sleep times based on age and gender to set the benchmark.
25% of the score comes from time spent in deep and REM sleep. You have access to your 30 day average and the benchmarks for your age without needing Premium.
25% of the score comes from how much time your heart rate is below your RHR and how restless your sleep was.
All this goes into a proprietary algorithm and you get a sleep score.

P.S. How do I see the 30 days of REM and deep detail on the dashboard? When I go to the sleep page, I see the 30 columns of sleep days (total hours / day), but no totals (monthly) by the awake, deep and rem metrics. I'm not seeing it anyway (if it's part of the non-premium display).
Thanks again!
