I see many online stores just selling the Fitbit Versa Lite straps. If i buy that, can i also use it for the Versa? Are they the same?

Hi, to be certain about this, you could contact Customer Support about it. The size is indeed the same, but it might be possible that the mechanisms differ or whatever.
This is what I found when searching whether the strap of the Lite fits the Versa:
"The biggest design difference between the two smartwatch is the shift to a one-button design on the Fitbit Versa Lite. Now, there's only one button on the left side that acts as a back/sleep button. ... The Versa Lite still uses Fitbit's proprietary straps, so all Versa-compatible straps are compatible with the Versa Lite.12 mrt. 2019".

Hi, see this comparison between the Lite, Versa and Versa SE: https://smartwatchseries.com/fitbit-versa-lite-vs-versa-vs-versa-special-edition-compared/ and Judge for yourself. IMO as the sizes are the same, the strap should fit both Versa's.

Well yes, this certainly helps in a way, but do you see anywhere explicit that it fits both? IMO it should fit both too 🙂 but are we sure about it? Because i wouldn't like to buy some option thats i like for the Versa lite and i buy only to find out it doesn't fit my Versa. 🙂

NO! THE ANSWER IS NO! I have run across a few bands for the VERSA LITE that DO NOT fit the VERSA 1 or 2.
The LITE is a bit wider opening then the VERSA OR VERSA 2.
It has to do, I think, with the design of the pin attachments, so the versa 1 and 2 are flat and wide and the versa lite you will see looks like a round long bar design. That is what does not fit in the versa 1 and 2.
