I am currently participating in a biking event where I have to bike 75 miles in the month of September, so it is fairly important for my mileage to be tracked accurately. My friend and I ride together and I usually start my Versa 2 and connect to GPS and she starts her Apple Watch. She keeps my phone in her bag, which is usually not a problem because we usually ride close enough where I don't lose connection. Last night, there were a few times where I got enough ahead of her to lose GPS connection. At the end of the ride, her Apple Watch showed about half a mile more than mine; we are normally only about .2 off of each other.
I was curious if the fitbit was still tracking my miles when it lost connection to GPS? I know with running, it will still track miles based on steps, but I wasn't sure with biking.
Thanks!
