I am glad to inform that I got a replacement for my earlier Versa where the battery was draining from 100 % to zero in 8 hours. The replacement Versa has a great battery life of aprox a little more than 4 days and I am very Happy to use the same without having to worry about charging frequently. I thank team FITBIT for the same and appreciate their efforts to keep customers happy or rather delighted.
The firmware in the replacement Versa is 32.32.12.19.
Even though there is a update on firmware to 68.9.15 , I will not update as I fear the battery life may go down again.
Can anyone confirm that the firmware update causes the battery to drain faster , i.e from 100 % to 0% in 8 to 10 hours. Has anybody experienced the same?

@balubadan It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for sharing your experience with our Support team.
I'm glad to hear that you received a replacement and you're enjoying it. I don't have any information about the latest firmware version draining the watch's battery. You may want to check this article to know how to extend your Fitbit device's battery life.
You may want to learn more about it by checking what's changed in the latest Fitbit OS update?
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
