Don’t get text/call vibrating notifications and can’t change brightness

My watch is not vibrating for texts or calls. It does vibrate for other things, I can see the text/calls on my phone if I check, but don’t get any notifications on my watch while I get the call or text. 

When I go to notifications in my Vera app it won’t even let me open it. I click it, but it won’t open. 
i have double check my phone settings and it’s set up to get notifications from my Versa. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled my watch multiple times. I’ve also turned it off and back on. 
I also am not able to change the brightness on the watch. It is set at dim and I can’t see it if I’m outside.

I had the same problem and discovered that sleep mode under settings had somehow been turned on. My watch demonstrated the exact same symptoms as yours. I turned sleep mode off and got notifications as well as being able to set brightness, etc.
