Downloading personal music to new Versa 2 from computer- PROCESS DOES NOT WORK!!!!!

I've been trying for three (3) days to download my personal music from my computer to fitbit Versa 2.  It simply does not work.  The whole time the app is spinning looking for my fitbit.  The computer and fitbit are linked to the same WIFI.  The Versa 2 appears to connect briefly and is ready to transfer because it will go to the screen that says "Use your computer to start transferring music"  however the ding dang computer app is still "looking" for my watch!!! I am not happy with fitbit.  Why did fitbit have to make things so complicated?  Sometimes you just need to leave well enough alone.  Everything does need to be updated or changed!!!   This will be my last product if I cannot get this thing to work properly.  In the meantime, any suggestions that will resolve my Fitbit Versa 2 personal music download problem is greatly appreciated.

I am having the same exact problem and have spent over 2 hours on fitbit chat help with absolutely no success!!! I'm about ready to return it unless someone tells me how to fix the stupid thing!

You will have to go to youtube to get help.  This one has been well received.  https://youtu.be/OmbUJwbEQDo.  It has been awhile since I did it but the process is not simple or intuitive.
