Driving not overriding steps and floors

I am syncing with an android device. Since the update I have no been able to overwrite steps and floors as I usually can by adding driving as an activity. It clears active minutes but steps and floors stay the same. This is incredibly frustrating as I ride a motorcycle and it always gets logged as cycling, added around 2000 steps and 40 floors. Often I switch my fitbit off before riding my motorcycle but the tiniest movement in my bag or pocket seems to bring the watch back to life. How can I overwrite the steps and floors now?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Rwoods. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that the driving activity you log no longer override your steps and floors. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this. Upon checking with our Support team, I was told that you have already contacted them. I know they will be glad to help you out and provide a solution, please keep working with them.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
