I work overnights and all my data resets at 12a. Can i chage my 24 hr cycle to start at 8p?

At the moment this is not possible.

 

There is a popular feature suggestion for it though and if you'd like to add your vote you can find it at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Edit-Time-of-Daily-Reset-of-Stats-Add-Nightshift...

 

Note though Fitbit's comment that they don't currently have any plans to make this change. Perhaps with more votes they may change their mind.
