Products are supposed to improve with each new release, so why is my versa 2 not as good as my charge 2?
I use my Fitbit primarily to track calories and exercise. I often forget to start my tracker at the beginning of class. With my charge hr and charge 2, I would open the app on my phone, change my start and stop time, and the details were retroactively displayed.
With my versa 2 I change the start and stop time and nothing changes. It now says I worked out for 90 mins and burned 180 calories.
I get on my computer to add a workout. I put in the start and stop time, and calories are retroactively counted, heart rate statistics during that time period show up, etc. This does not update into my app on my phone though, so can’t see any workout that day if I delete the incorrect workout.
My charge 2 could do this, so why is the technology worse on a newer product? How do I get Fitbit to fix it so that the improvements they once made, continue into the future?

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Versa 2 and Charge 2. Your feedback is appreciated, we're always striving to improve our services offered and improve features that are implemented.
You should be able to edit the activity with your Versa 2 and the data should change every time you're editing it. I would like you to make sure that you have the latest app version which is 3.16.1 for iOS.
If you keep experiencing the same, please reply to the following questions:
- How are you recording this activity?
- How did you use to record it with your Charge 2?
Regarding the workouts that aren't matching in your Dashboard and app, please attach a screenshot of what you're seeing in both platforms.
Keep me posted. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

So, I use my Versa 2 to record my workouts. I set up the button to be my start and stop. I used to use my HR 2. Often times I will forget to start it at the beginning of my workout. I then go to my app and change the start and stop times. When I had my HR 2, the stats would change, with my Versa 2, nothing changes. If I go to the website, it changes, but not in the app. However, even the website seems to differ.
I have attached pictures of data from my feb 23 workout. You will notice the app says I burned 91 cal with the website says I burned 415 or 428. The 428 example was manually entered, but also seems to have 5 mins less. Regardless... 91 cal vs 400+ cal?????
Another example... I took a screenshot of yesterday’s workout. I then altered the start time by 15 mins, and took a screen shot. You will notice the cal burned is exactly the same. When I would do this with my HR, the cal number would change accordingly.

@SunsetRunner Thanks for getting back. I appreciate the details mentioned and the screenshots shared.
Thanks for your report, I've shared this with my team and they are investigating this discrepancy. In the meantime, you may want to track your workout using SmartTrack or manually starting the activity using the exercise app.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
