Hello @Clive007 and welcome to the Community. No, we can't change how floors are displayed. Fitbit provides floor counting as a health/activity benefit. It is a way to say, "I took the stairs."

Hi @LZeeW and welcome @Clive007 to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Excellent input @LZeeW! In addition, you may multiply the number of floors x 10. That equals the number of feet gained.
On the other hand, we are constantly working to improve Google and Fitbit products and services, and this could be an idea to propose. The best place to make your voice heard is the product feedback board.
I just surfed the community and found some suggestions 1 2 regarding this topic but for other Fitbit models. So i invite you to add your comments and vote for these suggestions.
Thanks for your feedback and for participating in the community!

@Clive007 Fitbits count floors using a relative altimeter that looks for the tiny changes in barometric pressure as you climb stairs or go up a hill. The 10 feet to count a floor must be made in a smooth, continuous motion. If your path takes you up eight feet, then levels off, then goes up five feet, then down, and so on and so on, the number of floors won't agree with your actual elevation change. I can't remember the name of the trail where I earned 125 floors. I do remember that the trail guide elevation change was more than 1250 ft to the summit.
You will be comparing apple to oranges.
