Exercise app not working properly after the screen goes dark on Versa 3

Hi.  Yesterday, my Versa 3 went blank and would not come to life.  I did not get a warning about low battery but I charged it up anyway.  Afterwards, it came to life and so I thought all was well.  But now, when I open the exercise app and choose an exercise, the app starts up per usual and shows my heart rate and zone, but after the screen goes dark and I flip my wrist to look at it, it has reversed back to the apps selection screen or even all the way back to the clock screen.  I have tried a restart to no avail.  I go to exercise class every day and I need this app to be working. Help please!

Thanks for explaining the situation with your Versa 3 using the exercise app. I understand this can be frustrating since you normally use this every day, can you try doing a factory reset, please? And make you sure you have restarted your Fitbit device following the steps described here.

OK, a factory reset followed by a soft reset fixed it for now.  It's disappointing that I had to do this after only a couple of months but thanks for your help!
