Exercise app won’t open on Versa

I’ve  had my Versa for a week. Initially exercise app would open and I could pick the type I was doing. Two days ago when I clicked on the exercise app it flashes and then goes back to the clock face. It won’t open. Any ideas?

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

Have restarted a dozen times. No change. Still can’t access the exercise app 😡😩

Have read the manual and googled for solutions. No luck.

I'm curious about what does happen when you touch the Exercise Icon?  In any event, the only action we have left to do is a Factory Reset which puts the tracker back to how it was when you first started it.

Swipe left to Settings, then About and then Factory Reset and follow instructions.  The process will take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete but you will have completely new software on your tracker including the latest Firmware update.

The icon shows for about 1 second then disappears. If I swipe it goes back to the  screen with the music, alarm and coach. 

Ill try the factory reset. Thanks for your help.

This same issue is happening to me on my versa. the exercise (or coach) app's just flash for 1 second then close. I was able to use it fine yesterday. Any suggestions? I've restarted the watch numerous times.

I had to do a factory reset. Lost all my settings but it works fine now. Good luck.

I had to do a factory reset as well and lost all my data, but I'm happy everything is working now.

I tried to restart it over and over again. Still didn’t help.  All the other apps work fine on the watch.  Also before this happened it wouldn’t connect.  Just been using strava in my phone.  I can do that without the Fitbit

This is ridiculous you have to do a factory restart and then go back and change all my settings back. I'm having same issue. 


COME ON FITBIT!!! There needs to be a better fix than that!

Yeah, happened with myne too . 

Restarts doesnt solve it as listed above as best answer .
