Exercise mode to us for horseback riding?

I want to know what mode I should use on my Fitbit Versa that would be best to track horseback riding? I would prefer one that is going to connect with the GPS so I can track what route I used that day. I was just going to use the one called "Workout", but it doesn't look like that's going to link with the GPS.

Anyone have a solution for me? Should I just mark it as Run so it'll track the route, then manually edit it in the app after I've logged it?

Thanks!

Horseriding is a difficult one as it will count all your horses footsteps while you are riding and yoj will end up with very large step counts. To avoid this it is probably best not to wear it when horse riding. But if you want to wear it you can get rid of the steps by logging a driving activity afterwards and you could also manually log in horse riding. I dont really think you can get the tracker to do it with GPS unless you use run or walk.

What exactly do you mean by logging a driving activity afterwards? I thought Biking would work, but it's still counting steps in that mode. Why is that? I don't see how that would apply to anything while biking. Is it converting the distance traveled to steps?

Ok, so I figured out how to add the driving to zero out the steps, but is it still keeping the calorie burn, distance and heart rate info in my totals?

I horseback ride daily.  Taking my Fitbit off or adjusting manually are not great solutions.   When I change the activity to horseback riding, it still is counting the steps and then I have to add an additional driving activity to 0 out the steps?   There has to be a better way!
