Explanation of App Permissions

Hello I'm looking at using some apps in the app store but I can't find an explanation on what permissions I'm giving the app I want. Can you please point me to where this info is?

An example would be an app asks for permission to use the internet, well what does that mean? Does that mean it can send any traffic to and from or only certain traffic. By any I mean all my notifications that are coming to the versa or my personal info?

I know I may be more privacy minded then most but I think clarification would be great for everyone

@Kucster perhaps you could post that suggestion in the Feature Suggestion Forum so others can vote for it?

Thank you for the response. That post is about what permissions I'm giving the Fitbit app on my phone, what I'm curious is what permissions I'm giving the apps on my watch. Specifically what they have access to and what they can do with it.

IE Can an app read and store all my notification and then send it over the internet?

@Kucster Oh I just read app store and assumed you had meant fitbit app in the apple app store. hah Well, regarding the permissions required by particular apps and why they're needed, you will have to contact the app developer.

Thank you for the response but I think it would be very helpful for fitbit to let us know what we are giving them access to.

When you give an app on you phone permissions it is granular bit blanket statements like internet. You can say yes to contacts  calendar and GPS and understand what you are giving them. I don't feel like this is being done when I install an app on the versa
