My screen stopped working a couple of weeks ago, but everything else functioned. I factory reset it and it began to work again. Then the Fitbit app said to update my watch and once I did that my watch completely shut down and has been unresponsive since.

Did you get any solve for this?? I have had my versa 2 since December. I didn’t get to update it but the battery will not charge no matter what I do. Tried all the usual things and nothing. I’m even charging my old blaze on the same outlet as the versa 2.

No, I haven't gotten a solution yet. It is still unresponsive so I am just trying a loop system where I charge for 2 days then disconnect for 2 and repeat unless I get a response.
