Factory Reset Versa, now iPhone won’t connect to tracker

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi there

i was instructed by live chat yesterday to do a Factory Reset to my Versa, but now I am unable to connect to tracker... my iPhone just has a search wheel spinning saying “connecting to tracker” but I left it for hours and nothing happens. So now my Versa is stuck in the “to start download the Fitbit app” mode.
so frustrated with this as I have been to 3 different sales centres prior to yesterday to try and fix my “greyed out” Settings, and my notifications weren’t working either.

please Help! I’m at my wits end!

Hi

I found this on another forum and it got mine working, hope it helps

  • Restart your Ionic by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  • Plug in your Ionic and make sure it's charging.
  • Restart your phone.
  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  • Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  • Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  • If the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
  • When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.
