Did you mean:

Factory reset Versa, now it won't sync at all

Title says it all. I essentially have a 200$ paperweight. My question is.......when is Fitbit going to fix the software issues that are prevalent with this product? Is there any ETA? How can you have this many issues with this product yet give us no communication? I feel scammed/cheated.

(Also I notice the syncing threads seem to have disappeared from this forum)

A Factory Reset restores the Versa to its "out of the box" state. It must be installed as a new device before it will  begin to work and to sync. Good luck!

OMG thank you so much! I've been building computers for 20 years and you're the first person to point out that factory resetting restores a product to it's factory default! How did I miss this after 20 years of repairing so many computers! What a helpful and valuable comment you've made! What would the world do without your vast breadth and depth of knowledge!

/sarcasm off I never ceased to be amazed as to how often people will post in a forum such obvious information. As if factory reset didn't imply it's factory resetting your device. Should I try turning it off and on again?

I went through the same thing and did all the normal things. After resetting to factory it wouldn't sync or connect or let me set it up as a new device. I reset EVERYTHING on my watch and my phone. It still wouldn't let me set it up. My watch was at full battery so I hadn't had it on the charger. I put it on the charger and then it worked. If that's the one thing you haven't tried yet, it sounds ridiculous, but it was the difference for me.
