When I click the button the update the firmware within the app, it begins downloading. The Fitbit logo appears on my versa, then a big red X and everything stops. Seems like the update won’t go through?

Hi @Espreem , did you put your Versa in the charger and connect it to your PC before starting the update? Regards kuzibri

Yes, this is necessary. If you want to speed upthe updating process, normally done via BT and taking a while, you can activate the WiFi on your Versa as follows: Versa in charger and connected to PC. Go to the Fitbit app and in the dashboard press on the watch icon. Scroll down to WiFi settings, press it and you should see the name of your home network. Whenyou have entered the password of your network, there will be a white WiFi icon right next to the name of your network. Press the icon and Fitbit will start connecting to your network. When this is done the icon turn to blue and tells you "connected". Now update the Firmware. Leave your Versa during the entire process in the charger and connected to your PC. Regards kuzibri
