The majority of my walks are being tracked as outdoor bike (Versa). If I manually edit in the app to be a walk instead, will Fitbit eventually learn that I just walk fast?

I think it is best if you specify what exercise you are doing rather than have the Versa guess.

Hi @KimElizabeth79 - You must be a fast walker! What I suggest is, instead of letting the Versa try to automatically detect what you are doing, at the start of your walk, start a walking workout on the Versa. You will get much more detailed statistics about your walk. Let me know how that works out!

Thanks for the suggestions! I will try manually tracking. The walks are just incidental - train station to home etc so I don't tend to think of them as exercise. I will just hoping Fitbit would learn. It says it adapts stride length etc but in a month of use it doesn't seem to be.

I bike ride nearly every day, and it seems Fitbit assigns unknown activity as bike ride. Usually they give me a bike ride when I cut the grass. Today, they gave me two bike rides while power washing the garage. I just delete the false bike rides. It doesn't affect anything. You still keep the calories, steps, and activity you had before deleting.
