Fat burning zone during surgery and anesthesia

Hi, I have a Fitbit Versa 2 and I kept it on before, during and after my surgery.
Why did my Fitbit show that I was in the fat burning zone during my wisdom tooth surgery? Overall it says I was in the fat burning zone for an hour and 46 minutes. That is insane. It is showing that I burned 3,000+ calories for the entire day. even though I was resting and recovering all day.

not sure if the anesthesia or any of the medications I was given caused it. Not sure if this is relevant but I wear my Fitbit on my non dominant hand, and that was the hand the IV anesthesia was inserted in.  Thank you in advance

Thanks for the additional information, @SunsetRunner . While I recognize that any surgery can be stressful on the body and possibly account for this, I have to say I’m surprised they did not ask you to remove the Fitbit since it is an electrical device ... especially since they had to have seen it when they placed the IV. In my experiences (with surgeries and with X-rays), I’ve always had to remove the Fitbit, place it in a purse, and leave it with the person who would be driving me home. At this point, I would recommend restarting your Versa 2 just to make sure everything is back in sync. And in the future, just take it off your body (not in a pocket, either).  Restarting worked for me after a similar experience.

I wonder why you were not told to remove the bracelet - it's an operation, you need to remove all the things from yourself, they put you on an IV and various manipulations with the body, but that's not the point. Probably no secret that the body's recovery takes a lot of strength, especially after surgery, because the operation is very stressful for the body, after which a lot of energy and calories to recover to their previous state. For example, when I had surgery, I lost a few pounds and felt terrible, which doctors have advised going to the Compressing a regular diet helped me; a week later, I was walking as nothing had happened.
