Feedback about Fitbit Versa

Could anyone please tell me whether they have the same problems as I do.  Purchased the Versa as soon as it was released in the UK and the problems just keeping coming.

Steps - so sensitive. Tracks even when driving.

Syncing - doesn’t sync exercise. Doesn’t whether I’ve started it on the watch or I’ve expected it automatically detect the exercise.

Ive had several Fitbit’s and this is by far the worst.  Do I stick with it with the fact it’s a new release in mind and there will be updates or do I attempt to return?

This watch is garbage! I’ve had it for about 6 months now and the problems never stop. Downloading music takes weeks to do, watch seems to never update unless I restart a million times, can’t connect WiFi ever, Bluetooth is more choppy than the ocean. Got my wife a Apple Watch and she never has any problems at all! I’m throwing the versa in the trash and never buying their sorry products again.

I feel the same way, I’m just waiting for the new Apple Watch!

Apple Watch definitely has sleep tracking. I switched from versa last year to Apple Watch. My husband shattered his screen so I gave him mine and am trying the versa again. After a night of struggling to get it to update I am thinking it’s time to just bite that expense bullet and buy another Apple Watch.

I completely agree.  I am now on my third replacement (currently waiting on delivery).  I reached out to FitBit on 6/19/2019 via Twitter from a link from another's person's forum.  They of course told me the same steps as the forum to factory reset my Versa.  Of course that did not work and it continued jumping around from screen to screen without me touching it.  Finally after exploding on a customer service rep after having to deal with this watch for weeks jumping around, not syncing, not showing notifications they shipped me a new watch yesterday.  I had to find out a few months back that Best Buy no longer offers replacement plans on this watch because it's such junk.  So my only option was the second replacement which now is being replaced again.  I am thinking of selling this watch and using it towards the purchase of my new watch.  My next watch with be the Samsung Galaxy Watch to go alongside with my Samsung Note 10.  This watch has been such a disappointment.  I could of saved my $229 on this Lavender Special Edition watch plus the price of the 2-year service plan that is no longer offered.

I have had the blaze etc and never ever had any issues. I got the versa because it was bigger and I like the lol of a larger watch as well as the fact me previous Fitbit’s were so good. Within a month I was on holidays and it just went off and couldn’t be revived, the very helpful support team arranged for a replacement to be sent immediately. Wonderful. Now not  quite 5 months later, the watch just stopped working, no data, no syncing nothing. I am so upset by this as I had to send it back, and now have to wait for a replacement, which I am now worried about seeing all the comments here. I had an Apple Watch for a short time, and did love it, just didn’t like that it didn’t do the sleep stats. But I will be looking at it now.

The Fitbit Versa is a very poorly made athletic device. 0 out of 5. Truly disappointed. I had so many problems with set up and syncing, etc.,The company actually told me that because I use Spectrum Cable/internet that it was not conducive with the watch.  Haha.  I gave up and pitched it.  Count your dollars and be smarter with your (my) next purchase. Which will not be Fitbit.

I purchased the Fitbit Versa Special Edition in Australia in January 2019 whilst on holiday. It committed suicide less than 30 days after I purchased it. The agent was really helpful and sent me a replacement. The replacement did not work at all from the time I got it. The next agent was helpful as well and sent a replacement for the replacement. The 2nd replacement stopped working a few days ago, less than 5 months after I got it. It is really annoying having to go through all the troubleshooting, having to either chat or call Fitbit and then having to wait for the replacement which has now been ordered. In less than 8 months, I will have 3 replacements for the watch I purchased. I wish I could return it however, I cannot do that since I don't live in Australia. I am going to wait for Apple to launch the 2019 edition of Apple Watch and buy it instead of keeping this Versa.

When I am shampooing my hair, it counts as steps. Once in the shower, I had a swim workout for 17 minutes. I was vertical and not horizontal. When I manually put on an exercise and do a workout for 60 minutes, it does not sync on the app that I did a workout for 60 minutes but less as it takes the auto tracking of a workout I did during the day which is steps as I do not work out during the day whilst at work so the workout time is totally inaccurate. With the medical scheme I am on, I get points for doing workouts for 60+ minutes but this watch sends incorrect data to the app or from the app to the medical scheme. However, I have to give credit to the heart rate and the sleep monitoring side of this watch. It is good and has been accurate so far. Other than that, it is a crap product. Once Apple releases the 2019 version of Apple Watch... Fitbit Versa who?

Yes the step counter is very inaccurate. It records arm movements and not
actual steps. Typing and arm movements when typing at my desks is recorded
as steps. I am also on my third replacement after the second one screen
just died. I have upgraded my phone to the new Note 10 and I'm just going
to get the new Active 2 and just give up on this watch. I'm glad you had
good luck on the heart rate monitor because mines and others have reported
it not being accurate.

There are so many problems with the newer models, extremely frustrating. I no longer swim with the Versa, I just use the Flex 2, which is an older model as I really believe the Versa does not do well in water, so far so good, it has lasted longer than 1 month.

MY FIT BIT VERSA LITE HAS JUST DIED AFTER 2 MONTHS. PRIOR TO THAT HAD A CHARGE 3, THAT DIED AFTER 7 MONTHS. I USE MY FITBIT WHEN WORKING OUT OR FAMILY DAYS OUT. 4 IN LESS THAN A YEAR IS AWFUL. I CAN REPLACE IT AGAIN, HOWEVER DO I TRY THE FIT BIT VERSA OR NOT.

Despite how well Fitbit have been in replacements, I gave now purchased a Garmin. I didn’t want the risk anymore of it shutting down at in opportune moments and then having to be without my watch for a week or so.

Fitbit Versa is such a cute stuff., but is bricked after 6 months of use. Is it related to software or hardware issue? I updated my Galaxy 8 to android 9.0 and ever since the Versa is excluded and lost power and it died. RIP? or I can have another option? So many people are complaining, Fitbit probably is listenig to the whispers of poor customers.

Ionic and Versa both have their problems, I think I may have solved mine by not using them in the pool, what they were actually touted for. I swim with my flex 2 and keep my fingers crossed, it has been 3 months, no problems, knock on wood!

I've had my versa for a little over a year and just started having problems. The first one being it no longer tracks my heart rate. Shortly after that happened it would out of the blue stop tracking my steps. I have to keep re-setting it in order for it to track my steps, but the heart rate function seems to be completely out of order. And don't get me started on the synching issues. I expected to have this watch in total working condition for longer than a year. Shows you what I know. My husband surprised me with it as a gift, and I was so excited and happy to have it. Now I'm ready to throw it away. I see Versa 2 is out. I wouldn't dare waste my money. So disappointing.
