Female Health , active minutes, hourly steps not syncing

Hello, I have had my fitbit Versa for a week now and I love it. Am having a few problems though, 1st of all...my female health I do isn't showing up on the watch...I have logged information, reset the watch, uninstalled the application and still  nothing? I have the most recent application too.

2nd of all, my steps per hour aren't syncing to my app on the phone? On the watch I have 10 of 10 hours but on the app...zero...

And lastly I have 0 active minutes logged on the watch. I am a pretty active person and I do walk a reasonable amount so I know I should have some active minutes not zero!

Like I said, I have tried resetting the watch, uninstalled the app, turned phone off and back on...not having much luck...any suggestions??

@Klair Phone model and OS? By reset, you mean factory reset or regular reboot? Try this for now:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair in your phone's bluetooth settings
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions and sync.

The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that.

Additional tips if sync issues persist: If you have Wifi set up, go to Fitbit mobile app and remove it, then sync your Versa. I noticed that it causes issues for me. If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with your phone, forget them. One of them might be causing issues. Also, make sure Always Connected and All day sync are enabled. If you're on Android, make sure Keep Alive widget is enabled as well.

@Klair"2nd of all, my steps per hour aren't syncing to my app on the phone? On the watch I have 10 of 10 hours but on the app...zero..." -- You are refering to the data from the Today "app"/overview I presume.  Is everything else syncing properly, like stairs, calories, exercises etc?

"And lastly I have 0 active minutes logged on the watch. I am a pretty active person and I do walk a reasonable amount so I know I should have some active minutes not zero!" -- Active minutes in the fitbit world have a complex definition, it is not just any minute that is not sitting on a chair of sofar. Your HR has to be above something and it has to be for so many minutes continuous before it counts at all. Also, does it say zero on your mobile app too, or only on the watch?

I would be careful with rebooting (let alone doing a factory reset), uninstalling etc, before all other troubleshooting is exhausted. Many people get into more problems when they go for the all-reset process. First try to isolate what is working and what is not working, and then see if there a logical reason for it. My take 🙂

So everything seems to have sorted itself out after a few days, it was only my hours that weren't syncing all of the other info was correct.

The only thing I can't seem to resolve is not having female health on my watch. I have avoided doing a reboot for the minute because when I uninstalled the app etc I lost all of my settings and it was very annoying.

Thanks for the tips 🙂
