Finally got my Versa to stay connected to Iphone Bluetooth and continuously sync

For a long time, I had to constantly (ie, multiple times a day) go into my iphone bluetooth settings and tap on Versa, wait for it to connect, then open the Fitbit app to sync.  I knew it wasn't the phone because I have no other bluetooth issues.  I was ready to start shopping for another tracker, especially since I began intermittent fasting and plan on purchasing a smart scale.  I will need current Fitbit data imported into the smart scale's app.  But I didn't want to shell out 2 or 3 hundred bucks for a new tracker.

It's been about 4 days now and have had no issues.  I know that there are probably instructions in the forum that may the same as mine but figured I would share this anyway.

Go into settings.  Select Bluetooth.  Find your Fitbit device in the list, and tap on the the 'i' in the circle next to where it says "Disconnected".  Tap on 'Forget this device'.

When you are back on the Bluetooth settings screen, turn off Bluetooth.  Close Settings screen.

Open the Fitbit app.  In the most recent version of the app, tap on the Icon in the upper left hand corner.  On the next screen, tap on Versa.  Then tap on Remove this Versa.

Force close the Fitbit app.

Go into Settings, General, scroll to the bottom and tap on Shutdown.

Wait a minute for Iphone to shutdown.

Turn on Iphone. Go into Settings, then Bluetooth, and turn this back on.

Open the Fitbit app and go through all of the steps for adding your device.

I hope this helps somebody else, it was very frustrating for me!

Tried this multiple times; had no effect. Fitbit likely to lose a long-time customer.
