Find Phone app on Versa 2 no longer working

After the latest firmware update I was so happy to see Fitbit’s Find Phone app and it worked perfectly with my iPhone 6s...but not anymore. The watch and the app are syncing just fine. When I try to find my phone from my Versa 2, it just keeps searching until I get a message on the watch saying ‘Couldn’t find phone’. This is so frustrating, especially since I know it worked so well before. I’ve tried uninstalling and re-installing the app but no luck. Anyone facing the same problem? Any suggestions/tips? Thanks.
