Hi there, @Monicasims. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. @SunsetRunner Thank you so much for your help!
Please note that Find My Phone app is available for Versa 2 devices. With that being said, I'd like to know if by any chance your Versa 2 is fairly new? If so, give it a couple of days more to see if you receive the new update which will allow you to install the most recent app available for our Fitbit devices.
For Versa 2 the current OS should be (35).72.1.9. To see the current version installed on your watch, go into the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image. The firmware version number appears under your device's name. Also, on Versa 2 find the firmware version in the Settings app > About or Device Info. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?
Once you manage to update your Versa 2 and install the Find My Phone app, keep in mind the following requirements in order for the Find Phone app to work properly:

Hello @Monicasims
That’s odd it’s not showing as available. I have a Versa 2 I can find it in my Fitbit App Gallery.
Are you taking this path: open the Fitbit App, tap profile picture, scroll down and tap Versa 2 then tap Gallery. Next tap the magnifying glass icon at the top then type Find My Phone in the search bar then tap enter on my keyboard.
If it’s still missing look to make sure you have the latest Fitbit App version. Also if your Versa 2 is new (within 1-3 days) it takes a few days for your Versa 2 to receive an update to open up many apps in the Gallery.
😃 Hopefully your able to find it taking the path I described. Let me know if this provides you with the best answer to your question.

I received a Fitbit Versa 2 and the Find Phone feature is not working. I have set it up 2 times as you taught me and now I still have more to study from its applications.
It shows up on the watch, but when I call it, it doesn't find my phone. It only works if the phone's screen is on and the Fitbit app is open on it. If it runs in the background it doesn't work.

The Find Phone option on my Versa 2, only works with the app open on the phone. If the app is running in the background, the option doesn't work, so it's totally useless.
I was told to wait for the second update for the wach. Here I have installed 35.72.1.23. It's frustrating not being able to use an option that the manufacturer boasts about.
When I lose my phone I don't have the app open, so I can't use the Find Phone app anyway, because it doesn't work.
I tried all the solutions but none of them worked. I restarted the watch and the phone, force stopped the app on the phone, reset the watch to factory settings, and connected it to the Fitbit app once again. I reinstalled the fitbit app on my phone and it still doesn't work. I did everything I read in and in the fitbit community articles. The phone was near the wach. Not working. The phone just doesn't ring.
I am using an OPPO Reno 6 5G phone with Android 12.
