Find my phone app won't work on my Versa 3 while using my OnePlus phone

Hello,

I am having trouble with the find my phone app on my Versa 3. I am using a one plus Nord device with the latest android system (version 12). When I use find my phone, the phone is not ringing properly. It makes an erratic short high pitched noise.

When I connected my versa to a Samsung device, the find my phone app seemed to work and properly ring. Is there an issue with versa's compatibility with one plus Nord? Can that be resolved?

Thanks

@Konstantinos.k Thanks for getting back. Please note that your case has been escalated. I've shared this information to our team so they can be aware of what happens with one phone and the other. As soon as they have an update, they'll reach out to you again.

Nevertheless, in efforts to try solving this issue, please attempt the following:

  • Unpair your Versa 3 from both phones' Bluetooth..
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference. Make sure the Bluetooth on your Samsung phone is turned off.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your OnePlus phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.
  • Test the Find My Phone app on your Versa 3 while using the OnePlus phone only.

Hello,

I did indeed contact the support team but that was before making this post. They were not able to resolve the issue and have opened a case. It was also before I realised that the find my phone app works with other phones but not with my one plus Nord. So this is information that the support team does not have.

Your assistance would be much appreciated.
