First my versa 3 battery is draining fast and now screen swipe's not working

First my versa 3 battery is draining fast from past two days it goes from 100 to 3 in 24hrs, to fix that I restarted the watch now screen swipe's not working. Can’t swipe up or side. It’s like it’s frozen on main screen. Tried everything restart, hard reset, removing watch from app and connecting back again, changed clock faces. Need help!

Hi @stevedorson  - unfortunately the symptoms you mention are signs of a watch fault, possibly from water getting in.

If it is under warranty get it replaced, if not buy another in preference to later models which don't have all the features this watch has, or another brand.

It’s not water damage because I never use it for swimming or in rain. It was fine two days back and suddenly the issues started. So can’t it be repaired by Fitbit.

@stevedorson - unfortunately watches aren't repaired, only replaced if all your troubleshooting has not fixed it.

Ok I have also written to Fitbit support team, let’s see what they say.

Have the same exact problem with the versa 3 on almost the same exact day. It's not even a year old! Ridiculous, maybe time for an upgrade to a different brand.

I have the same problem with my Versa 1.  Just started a day ago.

Also wasn't getting text message notifications. Rebooted my watch. No fix.  Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now I'm getting text notifications. Battery is still draining quickly. 

Hope there's a firmware update or something similar to fix this problem.

Now my versa 3 is dead it’s not charging nor switching on. It’s just 2 years now. Reply from Fitbit is no warranty so they can’t do anything plus they say, they don’t have service centre in the entire world. Basically they are saying it’s a use and throw product.

Also I got to know that even if I’m warranty something goes wrong they will replace it with refurbished one not new.

Same happened for me for two days, suddenly the watch started heating up due to frequent charging and now it’s dead.
