Fit Bit Versa quit syncing, now saying turn Bluetooth on but it IS on

My Fitbit Versa is not syncing.  I restarted it to no avail.  It keeps telling me to turn bluetooth on, in the app.  Bluetooth is on.  I've restarted BOTH phone and watch at least 6 times each.   I've turned off all other bluetooth devices to not confuse it.  My phone refuses to find the Versa and the Fitbit app continues to tell me to turn on bluetooth, which is ON.  I did update the IOS a couple of days ago so i'm guessing that's the problem?  My Versa CAN NOT update since it will not sync because it won't connect to the phone because the app says the bluetooth is not on.  Perhaps this is the end of the Fitbit for me.  I already have switched to apple watch for most of my day, but still relied on Fitbit for Scale and Sleep but if it won't sync my sleep...the versa is now useless for me.  No wonder we've done nothing but lose money on our Fitbit stock.  😞  SMH

I'm so beyond annoyed with Fitbit already.  I was a huge supporter...even bought stock!!  It would be great if they'd actually give me a fix for this.  😞 i won't get the time i've spent on it back though.

If the phone was updated, have you checked for a fitbit app update? Have you removed the fitbit app and installed a fresh copy?

The app is updated.  I checked that first.  I'm afraid to uninstall it and lose the Aria that is still synced.  Will that knock the Aria off?  Because at least i have THAT working even if not the Versa.

The Aria is connected to your Fitbit Account and syncs through your home's WiFi, it does not sync through the fitbit app, which will only display what the Aria has sent to fitbit through the WiFi. The app only shows what is connected to your fitbit account, removing the app will not affect the scale. 

Another thing to check would be the ios board and see if others are having issues with the latest iOS.

Thank you Thank you!!!  That did the trick.  I uninstalled the app and started over from scratch!  Yey!!
