I was attaching a new watch strap and accidentally locked the watch. I followed the instructions to reset the pin and each time I put in the new PIN (or old PIN) when prompted, it didn't work. I decided to try a new set up but now when I am directed to type in the activation code I cannot see it on my watch as it is still locked.

@hsrichardson Do not remove from the account. Do not factory reset. Instead do the following:
The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that.
