FitBit App is not reflecting the correct hourly step count on my Versa Lite

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
My Versa Lite is showing (correctly) that I have 9 of 13 hours (250 steps each hours) for today yet the FitBit App on my iPhone is only showing 3 of 13. The hours between 8:00AM and 1:00PM are completely blank. I have reset both my iPhone and my Versa Lite with no change. This has happened to me before when I used my Charge 3 and those hours are completely lost which means that my weekly count will be completely skewed. Can anyone help?

MrsHooly - that is SO dissapointing!  I have diabetes and have to take statins that make me practically unable to get in / out of car from the excrutiating pain in joints.  Despites that, I got my Versa so I can track my hour activity to manage / combat my situation - and it really hurts to walk.  Despite that, I still walk over 1/4 mile 12 times a day when prompted by my Versa (over 3 miles a day).  I've been noticing lately (since I got the Versa last week) that I'll do my walk and come back to check my watch - the walking event is there.  I'll synch up to my iPhone and watch the event then be recorded on my fitbie homepage.   That's all good so far.  BUT.... I can come back and find that recorded event has DISSAPPEARED later on and I'm not credited with the steps.  So I feel your pain - I hope Fitbit does something about this!!  It would be nice if we could manually "correct" the incorrect data by clicking the time that has dissappeared - sort of like the way fitbit allows as us update incorrect sleep hours!

changedforever - I am so sorry for YOUR pain (literally)!  Good for you walking 3 miles a day even when every step you take hurts. 😞   I called the Fitbit Help line yesterday after I submitted my post and spoke with Manuel. This was his email response...

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. We’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.  We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Apparently this is a common problem (which I also experienced with my Charge 3 on occasion) and he assured me that an update will be forthcoming which should fix this "bug".  It may be up to a month, but Manuel said that the correct data will eventually update on the app ...which isn't much help for this week.  At least we know in our heart of hearts that we accomplished our daily goals even if the Fitbit app is not reflecting the information accurately.

I agree that a manual fix to correct the problem immediately would be nice. Thanks for sharing your similar issue.  Take care!

Yes, this problem has become much more prevalent with latest update.

Get if fixed Fitbit!

Why do you keep constantly breaking existing features with your loser updates!!!

Thanks Troika - at least now I know I’m not going crazy. Hopefully Fitbit is working on a fix for it - when I’m walking 3 - 5 miles in 105 degree heat (not heat index), I expect my Fitbit to reward me (as nobody else does), not take progress away from me 🥴. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, I now have a Versa Lite ... it is just over two weeks old and, with the exception of this issue, I really like it!

Onemandipanda - that's odd, my Ionic worked just fine before I was told to return it to Frisco.  Changed over to Versa and now this....... h'mmmmmmmm......
