My Fitbit won't sync with my phone in the Fitbit app (version 2.85). I have a Google Pixel 2, and have not had any issues up until the past few days. When I check the bluetoothbluetooth c in my phone settings, it says it is connected, but won't sync when I open the app. Is this just a defect with the current version of the app?

Hi, try restarting your Versa several times by pressing and holding the left and right lower key buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. For extra certainty, on your phone quit the Fitbit app, restart your phone and start Firbit again. Hope that solves your problem.
