Hi, everyone! I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.2! (Firmware Version: 32.12.19) At this time, we've released Fitbit OS 2.2 to a small group of Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa users.
WHAT'S CHANGED?
Please check out this help article to see what's new in this update.
IS THIS UPDATE AVAILABLE TO ME?
This update has only been released to a small group of Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa users. If you have not yet received an update notification and wish to force the update, you can give the watch a FACTORY RESET and then follow steps 1 - 4 below. Please make sure you sync the watch before performing the reset so that all your current data transfer over. Factory resetting your device clears all data from the watch including music, Fitbit Pay information, and apps. Historical Fitbit data will still be available in the Fitbit App.
HOW DO I UPDATE?
Step by step instructions for updating your Ionic can be found here. We recommend updating your Ionic over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Ionic to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into trouble updating your Ionic, please follow these steps:
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have questions, please let me know in this thread!

I am having the same problem and don’t want to do a factory rest. What can we do to get the update to push to everyone.

I'm at my wits end with this watch. I can't get the update to go through... been over 2 hours and it's only at 19% and every time I charge it it stops syncing !!! Biggest waste of money.

Here is my experienced. I just updated finally 2 days ago
when i first got my Versa. i could not set it up. it would always fail.. so. i read somewhere to use the phone as your internet instead. So I setup a hotspot on my phone. setup the new watch using the hotspot from my phone.. it went thru and 30 min later.. my watch was working
I have been reading this topic from the start and was worried about updating.. and Fitbit did not send the update so i was waiting. I got tired of waiting and did a factory reset.
Update failed at first on my normal wireless then i remember the trick about going thru phone instead. I set that up again and bingo. 30 min later. the watch was updated to .19 and working like normal
So i suggest that the people that have problems doing it thru normal wifi.. setup your phone.. and try it. what do you have to lose?

Have been struggling with an update for a while now (past 4 days)
Removed my Versa from the Fitbit app, restarted my phone and now am trying to add Versa again with the update. It stuck on 50%...
Any suggestions or should I just throw it away?

Hi, did you only restart your Versa or performed a factory reset?? Don't throw it away, it's a waiste of money. How to perform a factory reset, see: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa/Versa-is-stuck/m-p/3107938#M60276.

@SunsetRunner I did the reset multiple times as well and still no luck.
I've tried all the instruction and nothing worked... Sill stuck at 50% as I am writing this?

How long is it now stuck on 50%?

I fully realize that what I'm going you to ask to do is a nuisance: wait for another 30 min, if during this time nothing happens, I only can advice you to go to Customer Support: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&c=Topics%3ATroubleshooting. Maybe you will find there the answer for your problem, see this: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2047/?l=en_US&c=Topics%3ATroubleshooting&fs=Sear.... Good luck!!

Thank you @SunsetRunner I have been trying for the past 4 days so 30 minutes is nothing 🙂

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well.
Please note that if you'd like to update your Versa to the the firmware version 32.12.19 it is necessary for you to perform a factory reset so the update can be pushed through your watch. Remember to sync before as the factory reset will remove any information in the watch that hasn't been synced, along with your settings and apps.
Now, before you begin the firmware update, make sure your watch is plugged into the charger and in range of your Wi-Fi network during the update. For best results, use your home or work Wi-Fi network. If you've never connected your watch to WiFi, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?. If your Versa is having trouble updating with WiFi, please try the following:
If the update fails, restart your mobile device and try to update again. If your Versa can't update over WiFi follow the on-screen instructions in the Fitbit app to update your watch over Bluetooth instead. Note that firmware updates over Bluetooth may take significantly longer to complete. If the Versa is having trouble updating through Bluetooth try the following:
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
