I personally think it's ridiculous that Fitbit hasn't yet corrected the epic fails with this latest OS release and then, to add insult to injury, chooses to close without warning the discussion thread regarding the failures of this software.

I concur! Both the hardware and firmware is defective. Instead of recalling defective batches, they choose to turn a blind eye..

Since you don't mention anything specific, I assume this is a generalized complaint rant, rather than asking for help with any specific issue.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Actually I did ask for specific help: Fitbit should pull OS 3.0 from general distribution and restore OS 2.0 availability until the critical errors with OS 3.0 that are reported by numerous owners in the now closed OS 3.0 firmware thread are resolved!  Until then new owners upgrading to OS 3.0 take on a substantial risk of ruining their device.

As Fitbit is a publicly traded company (trades on the NYSE under the ticker
FIT), one can't help but wonder if its stock valuation has yet reflect to
these issues? Perhaps a good short opportunity?
