Hi, Versa Smartwatches family,
We're happy to announce that Fitbit OS 4.0.2 (Firmware Version: 68.9.15) has now gone out to 100% of all users. Please download it if you haven't already.
We always recommend keeping your watch and the Fitbit app up to date on the latest versions to have the best experience.

Hi everyone,
We’re excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 4.0.2 (Firmware Version: 68.9.15).
We've begun releasing this new firmware to customers. This is a progressive rollout which means everyone will receive it at different stages until it has been completely released to all users. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Please be patient and wait until you see the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to begin the firmware download.
WHAT’S NEW AND FIXED
This release includes bug fixes and improvements.
HOW DO I UPDATE?
Step by step instructions for updating your Versa can be found here.
To update Versa Lite Edition, leave on all-day sync and let the Fitbit app run in the background on your phone. When the update is ready, you’ll see a notification in the Fitbit app.
If you run into any trouble updating your Versa or Versa Lite, I recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.

I have also done everything - deleted app, turned off bluetooth, unisntalled my versa. Nothing works. Cannot get the app to sync at all. No weather, no notifications. Very frustrating!!!!

Because it "isn't a problem on their end". Which is complete BS. I tried to unpair my Fitbit to try and get it to sync, and now it won't even update. Won't sync. So sick of this.

Can we also get rid of the music icon when looking looking at the notification the music icon keeps popping up and I don't have music on it.

Do we know if the new update is why snapchat notifications arent working? Mine always did then I updated and they dont work anymore, thanks

My Versa's firmware was updated to 32.68.9.15 this past Thursday or Friday. Beginning around noon on Saturday the Versa stopped connecting to the Fitbit app on my phone, an Android running version 3.7. The clock started running slow (6 hours behind after almost 24 hours of no-connectivity) and battery consumption accelerated. I already went through the recommended troubleshooting steps to reconnect without success. I'm growing tired of the recurring connectivity problems with Fitbits. Notifications for texts, etc are especially problematic, requiring me to manually force a sync almost daily in order to jump-start a process that should run seamlessly in the background.

We have 3 Versa watches in my family. I did the firmware upgrade and now my watch only displays the logo. We are not going to upgrade the other 2 Versa watches.
The display has the logo for about a minute or two, goes black for a minute and then the logo is displayed again. It won't pair with my Note 9 or my PC. I attempted all of the troubleshooting steps. I attempted (many many times) the factory reset - no go. Basically, this firmware just BRICKED my expensive watch. I am now back to using my Pebble - which always worked well.

I did the firmware update yesterday and my touchscreen has worked only intermittently since. What's up with that?

I've done the update and now I have this stupid dropdown quick settings thing.....I HATE this feature, please tell me I can turn this off!!!! Ugh!!!!

That drop-down settings thing is one of the main reasons I'm not updating my firmware yet. It looks ridiculous. Do they really care so little for customer experience?

I updated the firmware a couple of days ago. My fitbit is no longer recognized by my phone, I also tried to connect using ipad no luck

Jem (10/13/2019, 12:35:36 PM): Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup

Has anyone else noticed that the “notifications” part of “settings” has disappeared? I also lost my text notifications (everything else still working) and I cannot access the notification settings on the actual Fitbit device.. when I swipe over to settings there is just no “notifications” section anymore.
