Fitbit Pay Revolut support in the UK feedback

Hi, there are countless threads about this but just another one for you to ignore / tell me to open a case about here - Revolut is listed as a supported bank for Fitbit Pay in the UK. This IS NOT supported. Please can you at least acknowledge that this is the case? Either by talking to Revolut and getting this sorted or by removing the false information from your website. This was a big factor in me buying my Fitbit Versa, so for it not to work and for you to not even acknowledge the problem when many across this forum are talking about it is beyond a joke and is going to lose you future sales.

Revolut works on my versa. Suggest you try to switch your location in Fitbit App to US or Switzerland instead of UK by tapping your portrait there.

Well I have a charge 3 but did as you said. I changed the settings to the US and  managed to add the card to my wallet. Will have to go out and confirm it works!

You are absolutely right!

After changing the country to the United States, the card suddenly works.

Really Fitbit support could have said this 6 months ago, or simply fixed the bug...

Thank you very much okey2k!

Yessss, worked a treat. Set to the US, added my Revolut virtual mastercard card on on to fitbit wallet then had to go out and test it with a pint of Wye Valley Brewery HPA. Supping on it now. Great find okey2k. Revolut works in the UK!

I was able to set up my Revolut card on Fitbit pay today without having to change the country to USA. So it appears that the linking issue is fixed across the board now.

I totally agree. I would not have bought this product if I’d have known if did not support Barclays. Very disappointed

LOL @N8teGee  I thought after getting it to work that it might also do without having to change location but I was just happy I got it working. Looks like its all good now then. You would have thought Fitbit would have mentioned this but it just shows how poor their customer support is.

I've tried changing the location of my **ahem**bit but still doesn't work unfortunately. The wallet doesn't give any option to add a card and isn't showing as an app on my dashboard on my pc either. Has anyone had the same issue and resolved it?  Good to see everyone helping each other where **ahem**bit are massively slacking, thanks all!

How were you able to link with your Revolut?

Hi, since we are 1.5 years later this probably does not help, yet just to let you know I just now without any issues linked up my free virtual revolut card with Fitbit pay, I am UK based. Good luck.

Hey thanks, I appreciate you letting me know. My Fitbit Versa fell apart after just over a year (the third Fitbit I've owned to do this) so I've vowed never to buy them again anyway. Currently wearing a £30 Xiami Mi Band which does the job and has already outlasted all of my previous Fitbits. Thanks for the response nonetheless!

Hi
1.5 years later, I still haven’t used the NFC feature of my fitbit and was actually thinking of upgrading to a smart watch. However, since you messaged, I am now thinking of trying to use it again. Thank you so much

I can confirm that my Charge 3 works with both Revolut Visa and Mastercard without problems. I have however ditched the Charge 3 since the display is now so dim I cannot use it anymore. I belive this is a common problem with the Charge 3 just as the cracked screen on my Charge 2. It's a pity fitbit can't make a watch that can lasts more than a year but that's another topic for discussion.

Hmmm good to hear you managed it, I’m still not managing to get my virtual Revolut Visa card linked to Fitbit, worked with no problem adding it to Applepay...

update: I finally got to 'talk' to a couple of people at Revolut today, which was very informative ... (my BOLDS)

Seems like in this case adding your Revolut card to FitBit

Pay might not be possible due to some technical

limitations. Please remember that we are still launching this

functionality for our users and it might not be fully rolled

out yet. Hopefully, soon you will be able to use your Revolut

card for paying with FitBit Pay. Sorry for the trouble here

 and most revealing ...

Although the information about Revolut and FitBit Pay can

be found in some external sources (e.g.

newspapers/financial news websites) there was no official

launch yet, we are still in the tests phase, but those using

Mastercard, have already access to both GarminPay and

FitBit. Visa cards are still not acceptable.

Sadly my virtual Revolut card is a Visa, and there is no way to request a Mastercard version (although the disposable one is)... basically why don't Fitbit just be honest and specify the specificity of Mastercard in their advertising?  Wasted a lot of time chasing this elusive functionality ... but it looks like it will happen at some point .... I'm just not holding my breath...

After much searching managed to find a solution for this, well at least for me.

it would appear the only Revolut cards that you can link yo Fitbit Pay are Mastercard, but they need to be physical cards not virtual ones. I tried linking virtual Visa cards and nothing worked, tried the suggestion of changing location to USA but this didn't work either.

Tried to link a virtual Mastercard, this failed too. Ordered a physical card, a Mastercard, activated it and it linked first time to Fitbit Pay, no issues at all.

So (at least for me in the UK) the solution is to order a physical Mastercard (cost me £4.99), activate it and then link it to Fitbit.

I am using a Charge 3 HR

Hello UK  Fitbit owners. If you have Revolut card make sure you choose the card skin that shows MasterCard when you order the card. Revolut offers both VISA and MasterCard card skins when you order your card. Choose Mastetcard and this will work with Fitbit Pay. I have both VISA and MasterCard Revolut cards but only the MasterCard one works with Fitbit Pay.

I have tried to change the country to US on my location but it doesn’t let me go ahead with the card.

What about the billing address? Can I put the real one, uk?

I know this is a three year old post but I'd like to let you know that I'm still not able to link my Revolut Visa card to my Fitbit pay. I don't have a Revolut Master card unfortunately
