Fitbit Pay - Versa doesn't load the card properly after some time

After some time after adding the card to fitbit pay my card isn't loaded anymore. It only shows a loading circle on top of the card after holding the left versa button. It doesn't displays to hold the watch to a reader. I'm using a boon virtual mastercard card in Germany. Does someone else have the same problem. How can I fix that. I deleted the card and added it again. I shut down my watch. Nothing helped.

It might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling the wallet app on your Versa. You can do that by following the instructions below.

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon User-added image> your device image. 
  2. Tap the Apps tile.
  3. Scroll down to and tap Wallet.
  4. Tap the pink Uninstall button.
  5. Restart your Versa by following the instructions here.
  6. Repeat the above instructions te reinstall the Wallet app.

Having the same problem here in the UK on Santander cards.

Also, this is on both my Ionic and my wife's Versa.

The payment card had been working for a few days for both of us, then both of us encountered the 'Loading...' circle animation over the top of the card image.

I've removed the card several times, and re-added. It looks like that has worked for a few minutes, but then after opening the card two or three times, the 'Loading...' circle comes back and from that point onwards the card never loads again.

That's the same problem I had. FitbitSupport on twitter suggested to force stop or to completely reinstall the fitbit app on the phone and start a sync. That works now. But if I try to pay the terminal prompts that I'm using an unknown card. I'm using a virtual boon mastercard in Germany. My normal contactless mastercard works.
