Fitbit Pay doesn't support my card

I had a message when trying to pair my card on my Vera 2 saying it doesn’t support the card what does thsi mean?

Not all cards are supported;  I think it requires cooperation with the issuing bank.

The list is not accurate.

Wells Fargo is listed as a participating bank, but I got the message that Wells Fargo is not supported. The Fitbit Pay link also says that Trimet, my local Portland transit, can be linked. That is incorrect. The Fitbit app says "Available in Taiwan only." 

I wish Fitbit would update it and not offer "Features" that aren't really available to most users.
