Fitbit Restarts every few minutes; battery won't hold a charge

I received my Fitbit from my husband as a birthday gift last October, and haven't taken it off since. I'm in love with it. But since last Sunday (so going on 5 days) it has been acting wonky. It started with not syncing. I checked Bluetooth on my Google Pixel 1, it was on. I checked for stalled system updates and found none. I researched other issues, and factory reset it a bunch of times. Then, after the factory resets, it started vibrating ever minute or so telling me I was all caught up on notifications, or that I was ready to start my workout (no buttons were pushed for either item. It could be sitting on a table and it would interchangeably vibrate with those two screens). So I thought maybe it needed a full charge. I left it off for a few days, and it was only charged to 90% when I pulled it off the charger this morning, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt since it had stopped with the odd vibrations. And 5 hours later, the battery said 16%, and it began restarting itself every few minutes. Oddly enough, after the restarts now the battery is registering at 20% (hahaha so random) It still seems to be capturing steps and heart rate. I don't know what else I can do to troubleshoot this. I've looked at every available message board for something like this and haven't come across anything yet. I really love my FitBit, help!

Hi Tori, his is really a weird problem. It seems as though the Versa is leading it's own life. Nevertheless, (I know you did already a few FR's), try restarting your Versa 4-6 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and lrelease the buttons. If that also does not solve this weird problem, contact Customer Support about it. Really hope the restarting procedure will solve your problem, good luck!!

Mine has been doing the same sort of thing for the past month and now it won’t charge at all..restarting it stopped the random actions but now it’s kinda dead and I’m devastated as I also love my Fitbit...I’d had the Fitbit one for over 6 yrs then less than a year ago I got the versa

Hi Tori, I'm afraid the only solution for you that is possible is to perform a Factory Reset. Click the link and you will get all the needed information on how to do that and also how to setup your Versa again to your phone all over again, as the Versa acts like a new watch after a FR. Before doing this, sync your Versa with your phone, so you will not loose any data. Good luck!!
