My sleep score started out good and then went down for quite a while probably because of some stuff I was going through but is now back up and look good range and I'm wondering if anybody has experience having a good or excellent sleep range and still finding out they have sleep apnea? I guess and asking if there's any relevance between the two and if it would be unusual to have a good or excellent score and still have sleep apnea?

Yes I had my fitbit before I was diagnosed by about two years. I thought everything was fine until my daughter told me about the breathing. My sleep looked great on the app.

Thank you,

I have sleep apnea and sleep with a CPAP machine. There is no correlation between my Fitbit and my sleep apnea. Fitbit does not show any sleep apnea episodes of non breathing, but my cpap machine does. I didn’t even know I had sleep apnea until my daughter told me I made little sighing sounds and seem to stop breathing for a few seconds (30+ to be exact). My test results showed I was having 35 episodes of non breathing in an hour. Normal is 5 or less in an hour. Fitbit cannot detect that at all. Please don’t rely on Fitbit for sleep apnea. A sleep study will show how many episodes you have.

Yes I realize all that actually but I'm wondering if you have sleep apnea before you were being treated with wearing a CPAP and were wearing your Fitbit How well was it showing you were sleeping?
