Fitbit Versa 2 and Fitbit Charge 4 notification not working

Me andy wife recently bought Fitbit Versa 2 edition watch and Fitbit Charge 4 and the notification feature isn't working on both the watches/band. It stopped working exactly after the first battery charging that was done.
