Fitbit Versa 2 deleted my steps in the app from a previous day

Flying back from a trip on the east coast I switched my time zone back to central time zone. When doing this it was just past midnight eastern time and it switched back to 11 pm central time. I had close to 10000 steps from the day that I have now lost. Did switching the time zones when I did mess anything up to my step count??
