Fitbit Versa 2 display issues after firmware update 2022

Hello fellow Fitbit users. DO NOT install the new software update on your Versa 2. My watch is unusable and do not think that Fitbit will help you to resolve the issue because they will not. The new firmware upgrade has bugs. The screen is unresponsive and glitch. When I asked Fitbit what they are doing to correct the error or role back the upgrade, they told me that they cannot help me and have no solution for my problem. They also said that as my watch is out of warranty, I do not qualify for a replacement. They sent me a link to their devices on offer. My watch was 100% perfect before the "upgrade" and Fitbit doesn't care that they broke it nor are they willing to accept any responsibility or offer a solution for the problem. They are FULLY aware of the issue but are choosing not to assist 1000's of affected users (probably in the hopes that we will all just upgrade to a newer model watch). The customer service has been disgusting, the slow response to fix the problem shocking and the general disregard for panicked users completely unacceptable. I will NEVER buy another Fitbit watch again.
