someone please tell me this can be saved 😩 I got it in 2020 and the last month or so it has been a bit finicky on the touchscreen. Today, I just went to look at the time and it was like this. I didn’t hit it on anything at all. Restarting is doesn’t do anything and I can’t swipe to any other screens to factory reset 😩

Hi there @Ayraykay, Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2.

Thanks for confirming what are the steps you have already tried.  If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

I'd like to know if you have already tried to restart your device or change the clock face of it. If that is not the case, I encourage you to try that.

Mine went like that today. Sometimes I can see the screen but more and more now it's just fuzzy lines. The screen is also very bright with dim colours. Has there been an upgrade?

I've restarted and changed the clock face - nothing works. My watch is just a week or so

over a year old.

I have a versa 3 and the display took a lot of trouble shooting to turn on. It was black and just vibrated a few times. Finally got it to turn on and I see this (see pic). It's a bunch of lines. I also can't find the device under my bluetooth settings to connect it to the App.

Yes I changed the clock face and did a factory reset, none of it changed anything

I have changed the clock face to multiple different ones and back to the original through the app, it made no change.

I posted the same problem 12 hours earlier and haven’t received a reply. I’ve tried restart, new clock face, firm wear update, and all the other advice. Please help

Mine had this problem, too. I tolerated it for about 6 months until it became impossible to read unless under ideal light conditions. When I called fitbit they suggested I do a hard reboot, which of course did not help. Since it was out of warranty they offered me 30% off on a new one. I lived with it another 3-4 months then just bought a new one on sale.

I love your band! It’s beautiful. I haven’t seen a single reply saying the screen issue resolved. Nor did mine. I ended up having to buy a new one.

Being that this problem appears to be affecting a huge amount of Fitbit users and Fitbit doesn’t seem interested in resolving this issue I don’t know that I want to support them by buying a new Fitbit. No support is not good

I am having the same problem. Also bought in 2020. I have restarted several times and tried to change the

clock face.  Nothing works.  Has there been a recent update?

Yes I did a factory reset, changed the clock face several times, the only change is that it is getting worse!

Yesterday 9-19 in the morning I shut down my Fitbit and turned off the Bluetooth on my phone, then I restarted my Fitbit but I left the Bluetooth off for the remainder of the day, my screen didn’t show any signs of lines all day, woohoo 🙌! I was reluctant to turn the Bluetooth back on but I did and to my surprise once it connected the screen showed no signs of lines, today I still haven’t had any more issues 🤞

I don’t know if this will work for anyone else but for now my watch is still working as it should

good luck 🍀
