Fitbit Versa 2 locked and can't unlock with phone as it's no longer paired

Hi,

DESPERATE for assistance please.

My Fitbit versa 2 is locked and says "unlock with phone", however I stupidly removed the device from my Fitbit account and now realised I shouldn't have as I can't re pair it as I need to be able to see the 4 digit pairing code on the screen which won't display because of the lock.

Can someone please help!

I'll be eternally grateful.

Have tried all the usual things including:

- Resetting watch my holding down button for 10 seconds

- Turning Bluetooth on and off (Bluetooth is working find and picks it up)

- Uninstalling and reinstalling Fitbit app- Trying web version

Basically, I need a way to unlock a Fitbit versa 2 WITHOUT a phone!

In the same boat... that second stronger vibration never came... I don't think that works at all.

I have confirmed that the below work's.

  • Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  • When the Fitbit logo disappears
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset.

Hi @Depressed same as what?

If the tracker is locked, ant the unit is no longer attached to your fitbit account. See the best answer above.

Here you will find the steps to reset the tracker.

@Zoeknight is your tracker locked, and you removed the tracker from your account?

You will need to do a factory reset.

The timing of the steps are critical and you may need to try several times.

  • Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  • When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset.

If the tracker is still connected to a fitbit account. It is as simple A's setting another passccode

Hello @SunsetRunner this has already been answered above., if the tracker was still connected, it takes 15 seconds to set a new pin and unlock.

Seeing that the tracker has been removed, your only choice is to do a factory reset. Do instructions, tap on the above link to the best answer from 2 years ago.

Hey this worked for me 🙂

Hold all 3 buttons for about 10/12 seconds

When Fitbit logo disappears quickly let go of bottom right button (it is time sensitive so be quick) continuing to hold left & top right

When device vibrates release all buttons it will then take a couple of minutes to clear device & restart

When it has come back k. Use the fit bit app to set up
