Fitbit Versa 2 locked and can't unlock with phone as it's no longer paired

Hi,

 

DESPERATE for assistance please.

My Fitbit versa 2 is locked and says "unlock with phone", however I stupidly removed the device from my Fitbit account and now realised I shouldn't have as I can't re pair it as I need to be able to see the 4 digit pairing code on the screen which won't display because of the lock.

 

Can someone please help!

 

I'll be eternally grateful.

 

Have tried all the usual things including:

- Resetting watch my holding down button for 10 seconds

- Turning Bluetooth on and off (Bluetooth is working find and picks it up)

- Uninstalling and reinstalling Fitbit app- Trying web version

Basically, I need a way to unlock a Fitbit versa 2 WITHOUT a phone!

do we have to turn it off or leave it on when doing this like i don't see the logo when its on but i only see it when it is restarting so please respond as fast as fast as possable

This answer begins with an unacceptably RUDE comment.  

Also, it doesn't work.  I have the same error.  I cannot get the Versa 2 to reboot or factory reset.  All I get is the unlock with phone error.

My Versa 2 will not factory reset. I get the "unlock with phone" message then the black screen of death.  Your instructions don't include that error appearing.  Stop being so snotty to people who are likely stressed out fighting with their devices.  

 

I have reported you to the moderators.  Your snide comments are unhelpful.

I did this but it just said "data not cleared sync & try again (note: I can't connect my phone the the versa so i can't sync)

this for some reason wont work with my versa 2

Press all the three buttons on the device and when the Fitbit icon shows up, release the bottom right button and then when the watch vibrates release all the button, this way you can reset the device. Hope this helps.

My problem was a faulty bottom right button. The unit was replaced.
Loves me some Fitbit.

My mobile tracker is connected but my phone is not set up then what will be the solution??

@LAXMINARAYAN if your fitbit is still connected to your fitbit account. 

Install the fitbit app onto your phone. 

Log into your fitbit account 

Go to your trackers settings and setup a new password.

Fitbit kept telling me I needed to purchase a new Fitbit and they could not help me as my warranty had expired.  Everything was working fine until they sent me an update.  I finally gave up and purchased a new fit bit!
