Fitbit Versa 2 not tracking sleeping heart rate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello! I’ve had this Fitbit for a few days and upgraded to fitbit premium, but I’ve noticed that when I go to sleep it stops tracking my heart rate. When I’m awake the HR tracks fine, and it tracks my sleep properly as well, but the graph for my sleeping heart rate isn’t working properly. It has the dotted line for my resting HR, and one small dash for my HR right at the beginning of the night, and then no more data. Has this happened to anyone else?

Morning, the same thing happened to me about four days ago.  That’s the reason I’m here.  I guess I will try a soft and hard reboot to see if the graph starts tracking again.  If it works, I’ll let you know in a day or two.

This is happening to me, as well. It’s tracking my sleep stages fine but not my sleeping heart rate.

Same here.... New device, has been working fine, stopped tracking sleeping heart rate a couple days ago. I’ll check back to see what has worked for everyone else. Thanks

Yes, same thing happened with mine - no data for heart rate since what appears to be the beginning of July. Data WAS visible, but now is gone.

Well folks, my tracking started again for two days.  However it was short lived.  I’m still trying to figure out what’s going “wrong” with the tracking.  I will keep you all posted.  I’m the mean time, if someone else discovers a solution, please post it on the community page.  Thanks and stay healthy!

I have had my FitBit for a few months and all features were working.  This started a week ago when the Heart Rate and Sleep stopped working. I ve tired the reboot.

I tried the reboot yesterday and it worked last night. I hope this is not going to be an ongoing issue as I hate resetting everything.
mill check back in a few days and let you know how it’s going.

Me too! Seems like this has happened with a lot of people around the same time. My heart rate during activities has not been accurate in the past few weeks either. Still trying to work this out....

I did the factory reset night before last and it worked for one night. I got up this morning and the sleeping heart rate was gone again. On average this is frustrating but especially with a brand new Fit Bit!

Also having this issue on my Versa 2.  last couple days my sleeping HR isn't showing up int he graph.  It's still saying percentages but nothing on the graph.  I just reset device and we'll see how that goes......

I’ve had this problem for some time, have done all suggestions but to no avail. My battery is not keeping a charge for longer than 12 hours either. I got so frustrated in July I quit wearing for over a month. This is a replacement since my original also had a battery problem. HELP!

Same issue with mine — percentages, no graph. Reboot did not help; we’ll see tomorrow.

Yes it’s been happening to me too for at least the past month!! I’m getting really fed up with it and seriously wondering why I am paying for Fitbit premium when I am not receiving the services I am paying for! I hope there’s a fix for it soon as keep resetting is not working!

I’ve reset mine also and it’s such a bother to have to do that all the time. It shouldn’t be that difficult! Thank goodness I’m NOT paying for premium and am still on their free trial. Trust me, I’ll make sure to cancel before!! I’m certainly NOT going to pay for something I’m already seeing as a problem. I saw somewhere where they were having issues but don’t ya think they could have sent out some sort of email, newsflash, post of social media or something. I think it’s an app problem and not a problem with the actual FitBit but it’s sure nerve racking.

Hi! Each time I reset, Fitbit worked again for a few hours. Then it would lock up. I worked with customer support for assistance. Over several days, they asked some questions and had me try a few things In the end, they sent a replacement Fitbit face. I just received it. Hopefully this will do the trick.

Hope that helps.

I haven't worn mine since it last died. The battery wasn't even holding a
charge for longer than 6 hours. I can't seem to ever get anyone to respond
to my concerns either. Not a happy camper!
